- NCDCTA Reserve champion Horse of the Year (HOY) at Grand Prix on “Mondschatten” in 2010 and 2011.
- NCDCTA Champion HOY in 2014 in the Open 4th level division on “Genuine Gem”. “Gem” had never competed in dressage prior to my purchase of him in 2012. He has now qualified at the Open Intermediare I division for the Region 1 GAIG championships in 2016 and 2017 with limited outings.
- Competed through Open Intermediate eventing horse trials on two self trained horses and placed 7th in an Open Preliminary long format 2-day event with no cross country jumping penalties.
- Competed through level 6 Jumpers
- Coached Pony Club through national and regional championships in all three disciplines.
- Taught Pony Club through the “B” level.
- Coached young riders through Intermediate level (H.T.) eventing and qualified them for the one-star level national championship in eventing while it was still long format.
- Trained one Jr. rider through her USDF Bronze and Silver Medal and another through her USDF Bronze medal. A third was NCDCTA 2nd level year end champion in both the regular jr. division and in the musical freestyle division. The first rider was also reserve champion in Region 1 in the 11 and under division of Dressage Seat Equitation on her pony who also received the “Seldom Scene” trophy from the Lendon Gray youth festival that year, and then finished 8th in the country in the National championships of the same division on a borrowed mount. On her next mount, which I helped her find, she went on to finish 11th at the Gladstone Festival of Champions in the FEI Jr. division and be a member of the Region 1 NAJRYRC Bronze medal team.
- Qualified multiple horses in Region 1 at Training level through Intermediare I level dressage as well as for Area VI championships at Beginner Novice through Preliminary level eventing.
- Studied long-term with USET rider and national course designer Derek diGrazia, Lifetime achievement recipient Cory Walkey, USET riders Bea diGrazia, Alexsandra Howard, Gwen Stockebrand, Kay Meredith, and more recently with Linda Zang for the last 7 years.
- Received extensive instruction from Major Anders Lindgren, (multiple clinics), participated in an instructor’s clinic with Mary Wanless (author of Ride with your Mind), and have been a participating instructor in two series of USDF and one series of USEA instructor/trainer workshops.
- Clinics ridden in the last 10 years include Linda Zang, Conrad Schumacher, Verne Batchelder, Jaron Verheij, Bent Jensen, Cesar Parra, Jules Nyssen, Dennis Callin, Lilo Fore, Axel Steiner, Steffan Peters and many others. Multiple earlier clinics (last thirty years) that I have ridden in include Captain Mark Phillips, Bruce Davidson, David O’Connor, Jimmy Wofford, Anne Kursinski, Victor Hugo-Vidal, Jessica Ransehousen, Charles deKunfy, Raul deLeon, Claus Bergener, Gunnar Ostergaard, Dana-Lynd Pugh and others. I am continuing my education at this time to achieve my other personal riding goals.
- Sold many horses that have been successful in their chosen disciplines, including: Area VI Jr. Novice champion and then the following year was Area VI Jr. Training Champion; a horse to a student who was 4th in the U.S. at Jr. Training level Eventing; a horse to a student who was 7th in the 2004 BLM final for Jr. 1st level riders; as well as finding many horses for riders to compete on and enjoy.
- Ridden for 43 years and enjoyed working with all breeds of horses.
- Instructed for 32 years and enjoyed working with all types of riders who have had success in multiple disciplines.
